對(duì)于托福口語(yǔ)，中國(guó)考生向來(lái)是被認(rèn)為口語(yǔ)比較差的。但是同學(xué)們也不能因此灰心。了解不同題型的答題方法，對(duì)于考試也是很有幫助的。那么今天就和出國(guó)留學(xué)網(wǎng)來(lái)看看托?？谡Z(yǔ)task2能采用兩邊倒結(jié)構(gòu)嗎？
托?？谡Z(yǔ)要想取得開(kāi)門紅，首先要在Task 1 & Task 2 這兩題上贏得頭彩。實(shí)際教學(xué)中，如圖所示的Task2“一邊倒”的答題結(jié)構(gòu)被廣泛使用。
然而，學(xué)生在遇到選項(xiàng)難以取舍的題目（如下）時(shí)，經(jīng)常會(huì)有這樣的疑問(wèn)：可以持中立觀點(diǎn)嗎？
Do you prefer a job that offers a high salary or a job with more pleasure？
To be successful in sport， which is moreimportant？ Talent or hard work？（2015. 8.30）
Which course do you think schools should offer to students？ Language courses orcomputer courses？ （2015.11.15）
Some people prefer to watch entertainment programs on television. Others prefer to watch educational programs. Which do you prefer？ （2016. 8.20）
不難看出，上面的幾題Task 2 給出的兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)都有各自優(yōu)點(diǎn)，持中立觀點(diǎn)是較容易想到的方法。那么Task 2兩邊倒這種讓考生答題時(shí)“想愛(ài)又不敢愛(ài)”的方法是可行的嗎？讓我們來(lái)一步步揭開(kāi)它的“神秘面紗”。
Step 1： Task 2是否可以采取兩邊倒的回答結(jié)構(gòu)？
以官方指南Practice Test 1 Task 2為例：
Somecollege students choose to take courses in a variety of subject areas in order to get a broad rs choose to focus ona single subject area in order to have a deeper understanding of that area. Which approach to course selection do you think is better for students and why？
書中給出的High level response是這樣回答的：
丨總觀點(diǎn)：視情況而定。
This is kind of a complicated question. I think it’s important to know which stage you are in.
分論點(diǎn)1：如果是本科生，學(xué)習(xí)廣度更重要。
If you are an undergraduate student， I wouldrather take a wide range and a wide variety of subjects in different areas，because it would expand my knowledge and improve my understanding for different topics.
分論點(diǎn)2：如果是研究生，學(xué)習(xí)深度更重要。
On the other hand， if I am a graduate student，I would rather take specific courses， because when you are a graduate student，you are working and dealing with specific topics. Therefore you have to …
考官對(duì)此答案的點(diǎn)評(píng)包括以下幾點(diǎn)：（具體點(diǎn)評(píng)見(jiàn)官方指南P323） 、
由此可以得出，以兩邊倒的方式回答Task 2 是完全可行的。優(yōu)點(diǎn)是答題方式新穎，考生回答全面并且能較好體現(xiàn)自身的辯證思維能力。
Step 2： 兩邊倒的回答結(jié)構(gòu)具體如何運(yùn)用？
我們用上面提到的一道題目具體講解：
Some people prefer to watch entertainment programs on TV. Others prefer to watch educational programs. Which do you prefer？ （2016.8.20）
這里我們分別說(shuō)看娛樂(lè)節(jié)目和教育類節(jié)目的好處。很容易想到，娛樂(lè)節(jié)目可以幫助減壓，而教育類節(jié)目可以幫助我們獲取信息。另外，需要注意的是引出第二個(gè)觀點(diǎn)時(shí)，我們要用比如as for/ in terms of/ concerning about或者 however，on the other hand…這樣的連接詞進(jìn)行過(guò)渡。具體可以這樣說(shuō)：
丨總觀點(diǎn)：視情況而定。
Actually it really depends on different situations.
分論點(diǎn)1：如果學(xué)習(xí)累了要減壓，看娛樂(lè)節(jié)目。
If I feel stressed out about my study，I might choose to watch entertainment programs， like talk shows or TV series. For example，I am a huge fan of Ellen Show. When I watch this show， I could have a temporary escape from my academic tasks， like papers and presentations and I would feelmore relaxed.
分論點(diǎn)2：如果要獲取學(xué)習(xí)信息，看教育類節(jié)目。
However， when I want to finish my school assignment based on a show， educational program would be a better month I had trouble writing my biology paper. After watching several episodes of Discovery， I got a better understanding of some animal species because the program provided me with a more vivid and detailed description.
這里我們采取中立觀點(diǎn)，分別講述娛樂(lè)類節(jié)目和教育類節(jié)目的好處。
走完以上兩步，有同學(xué)已經(jīng)胸有成竹“大方愛(ài)”兩邊倒結(jié)構(gòu)了。慢著，我們今天的“探索神秘之旅”還有最后一步：
Step 3： 采取此種結(jié)構(gòu)答題是否有需要注意的地方？
官方指南上明確指出：
“If you want to talk about the advantages or disadvantages of both options and say they are equally good， that is permissible. However， it might be more difficult for you to finish discussing both options in the time allowed. “
不難看出，“兩邊倒”的答題結(jié)構(gòu)是完全可以的，但是要建立在學(xué)生扎實(shí)的語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)之上，這樣考生才可以在有限的時(shí)間里全面地回答兩個(gè)方面。
因此，同學(xué)們還是要從基本功做起，基礎(chǔ)打扎實(shí)，這樣在答題方法的選擇上可以更加靈活，也可以在練習(xí)的過(guò)程中加強(qiáng)自己的辯證思維能力。
