    這兩個(gè)片語的意思并不相同。
    Take a chair的意思是“坐下”、“坐在椅上”；chair 之前用不定冠詞。例：
    Please take a chair．
    請(qǐng)坐。
    Won't you take a chair？
    為什么不坐啊？
    Take the chair的意思是“開會(huì)”或“主持會(huì)議”。chair之前用定冠詞。例：
    Who will take the chair today？
    今日誰主持會(huì)議？
    Mr．Li takes the chair today．
    今日是李先生當(dāng)主席。
    另外，hold the chair卻表示擔(dān)任教授一職，例如She holds the chair of chemistry in the university。
